Selling AI prompts: what actually works
A good prompt saves hours. A well-designed prompt pack, built around a job or a goal, sells because it saves the buyer weeks of trial and error. Here is how to make one that sells.
1. Pick a precise niche
“100 ChatGPT prompts” does not stand out. “35 prompts to launch your online store, from product page to ads” speaks to a specific buyer with a specific need.
2. Structure the pack as a journey
- group prompts by stage (idea, creation, promotion, analysis);
- add [fields in brackets] to replace so each prompt adapts to the buyer;
- include a sample output for the most important prompts;
- say which tools they were tested with (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
3. Test every prompt
Run each prompt several times, on several tools. Remove the ones with uneven results. A buyer let down by three prompts will leave a bad review for the whole pack.
4. Price and license
Prompt packs usually sell for €5 to €30. State the license: unlimited use for your own projects, resale forbidden. It is the simplest formula to understand.
5. Publish your pack
On Kiosq, pick the Prompts and automations category and paste the pack into the delivered content: every buyer receives it instantly in their account. NextAura, for example, sells packs for Shorts, e-commerce and launching a SaaS.
