Is Your Website Really Winning Customers? The 10-Point Check

Selling on Kiosq is a great start, but many customers also check your website before buying or getting in touch. If they can't find within seconds how to reach you, your opening hours or an answer to their question, they go to a competitor. Here are the 10 points that make the difference, and how to check them without being technical.

1. Be reachable in one tap

A clickable phone number (a “tel:” link) lets a mobile visitor call you without copying digits. Also show an email address or a clearly visible contact form: many customers prefer writing, especially in the evening.

For services, a quote request form works even better: the customer describes their need and you receive a request ready to handle.

2. Answer before they even ask

Your opening hours and a short FAQ (indicative prices, lead times, service area, payment methods) answer the most common questions. Every question you answer is a customer who doesn't leave to look elsewhere.

A chat assistant that answers 24/7 with your own information takes over at night and on weekends, and passes you quote requests with the customer's contact details.

3. Be readable on a phone

Most visits come from smartphones. If your site isn't mobile-friendly (no “viewport” tag), text is tiny and buttons are hard to tap. Open your site on your own phone: if you have to zoom, so do your customers.

4. Be found on Google

Your page title and description are the two lines Google shows. A good title states your trade and your city; a good description says in 150 characters what you do and for whom. Finally, an HTTPS site avoids the “Not secure” warning that scares visitors away.

5. Check all of this in 10 seconds

The free audit by NextAura, a Kiosq partner, reads your website's home page and checks these 10 points: you get a score out of 10 and your top 3 priorities. It's free, no sign-up, and no personal data is requested. Audit address: https://nextaura-seven.vercel.app/audit.html?lang=en
